Bob hails from the San Joaquin Valley in California. In his youth, Bob fell in love with the great music and camaraderie of the bluegrass and old time fiddle traditions. He learned bluegrass fiddle from the masters -- Bill Monroe alumni fiddlers Richard Greene and Byron Berline. He also learned western swing style fiddling from fiddler/composer Harold Hensley whose fiddle Bob still plays to this day. Bob performed many years with California bluegrass band Hot Off the Press and has entertained on television, radio and of course, at Disneyland. Bob plays with several Arizona bluegrass bands. A versatile musician, he has been known to venture into Irish, Jazz, Middle Eastern and Klezmer music.
